What a week!
On July 19 Danny's uncle , his mother's sister's husband, died. He was buried on July 21. On July 22 his maternal grandmother died at the age of 94. Less than 24 hours later, his father, age 73, died after a long battle with emphysymia. His mother called Danny and I over to get him off the floor, which is where she found him. On July 26 we had a double funeral for his grandmother and dad. We have pretty much been with his mother except to sleep. I really can't image what she is feeling. ...probably pretty much like her sister, overwhelmed. Danny has really been holding up well. It's been one of those things you expect, but I guess are never reallyn ready for. We just feel blessed knowing all are in heaven now and no longer suffering. (let's hope we never have to go through this again)

Paisley Party
Hubby and I enjoyed a great evening with Brad Paisley last night in Charlotte. He is so awesome. If you have never been to one of his concerts give yourself a treat and go. I promise you won't regret it. He played for two hours and I could have listened all night. He seems to be having such a great time. Oh and his animated videos( he does the animation) are really hilarous. Thanks for a great evening, Brad.

Here we go!
Ok, I decided to give this a shot. Strange things happen when you are off work for the summer:)
I really don't know why anyone one would be interested in my thoughts, but who knows. It is a quiet day here in Hickory,NC. Had thought I would spend the afternoon at the pool, but ended up taking care of my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter,Chloe, who is not feeling well. I really don't mind as she is quite the joy. Really looking forward to spending the evening with hubby, Dan, and Brad Paisley. (more on that later)
