THe Shortest Season
...Has got to be summer. It seems like it just started and now here we are headed into the middle of August. I have a week and a half before going back to work at good ole HHS. I am spending the time by the pool and doing some reading. I just love my summers....the sun, the blue skies, the wind in the trees, the smell of chlorine and sunscreen, concerts on the river, ....ok maybe not the afternoon showers that tend to pop up, and not the hot, hot humidity; but how can you not love this time of year!?

Sitting? Reading? What's a pool? And then afternoon showers??? The close I've been to a pool is IN the shower. And we've had one rain since July 4th! ;)
Sorry you're summer is coming to an end...I hope to take a few days off in September! I'm supposed to get 3 weeks vacation but I've never taken that much. Have a great school year! Love ya!
